Not all plants are nature's gifts...at least in my opinion. And I don't like the lack of nature's flower arrangements in winter, but I do appreciate the break from poison ivy, ticks and mosquitoes.
So, since we can't look out the window to see flowers, I'm posting photos of some of the plants I enjoyed last year, and it won't be long until they're back.
Apply a medicated itch relief spray twice a day. Be sure to remove the previous application each time you reapply--very, very carefully. Keep the area cool. Don't scratch it whatever you do--just makes it worse. Some people might also take Benadryl, but I haven't tried that.
But the number one best thing to do is not to get it in the first place.
